Publication Scheme
About the Publication Scheme
Reference in this Scheme to English Partnerships will include both CNT and the URA.
English Partnerships holds records inherited from its predecessors, the URA - which traded as English Partnerships - and CNT. It also holds records inherited by these two agencies through their roles as successor bodies to other organisations. Therefore, we hold records of 22 New Towns*, eight Urban Development Corporations**, five Housing Action Trusts***, English Industrial Estates Corporation (later English Estates). We also hold small amounts from the Rural Development Commission (now known as the Countryside Agency) and the Department of the Environment.
These records will be dealt with under the appropriate access regime detailed in the Freedom of Information Act. Each request will be dealt with on a case by case basis. English Partnerships is committed to full disclosure of these records consistent with the public interest in the access to the information but exemptions may be applied. For further details please contact the Information Access Officer, tel 01908 353680, email mail@englishpartnerships.co.uk.
We operate an on-going review process, records which are deemed worthy of permanent preservation and cover corporate issues, or are of national importance, are offered to the The National Archives in the first instance, all other records of this type are offered to the relevant local authority record office or similar place of deposit.
Unless indicated otherwise all publications are available free of charge
