What to expect
You will have the opportunity to spend two years within our organisation gaining valuable insights into all aspects of what we do with our full funding to study for a recognised qualification.
You will learn about and have handson experience of many different areas of housing and regeneration and contribute to some of the most exciting regeneration projects in the country.
Through workshops and master classes, one-to-one coaching and self-directed learning, you will develop your professional and technical competence alongside skills development in areas such as strategic thinking, managing relationships and commercial acumen.
We have places for twelve trainees to be based across the following locations Bristol, Birmingham, London, Warrington, Allerton Bywater, Bracknell, Milton Keynes, Gateshead and Nottingham.
Example Programme Structure

You will spend the first nine months in a specific region before moving on to complete a number of shorter placements, across the country, giving you first-hand experience of the variety of regional projects we are involved in.
Placements will be offered by other organisations as well, including Regional Development Agencies and private sector companies.
You will return to your initial region or department for the final six months, well on your way to becoming a housing and regeneration specialist.
Salary
Initially, we offer a salary around £23,200, with six-monthly increases dependent on performance. After the two years your projected salary will be in the high £20,000s, and will also include a final salary pension scheme.
What then?
After your two years, you will be in a fantastic position to apply for a variety of roles within the Homes and Communities Agency and the wider regeneration sector.
