John Parker MA (Cantab)

John Parker is a qualified chartered accountant with wide experience in finance, business economics and the housing market. He worked for a leading merchant bank, three building societies, a property investment company and the Burmah Oil Company, before becoming Chairman of the Building Societies Association.

John’s community activities include chairmanship of the Pate’s Foundation and the Stroud Feoffees, and membership of the Finance Committee of St. John’s College, Cambridge.
