23/09/2008 | Locals encouraged to play wider role in MKP
Milton Keynes Partnership (MKP) has produced a new leaflet, Who we are and what we do, to encourage local people to get more involved in its work.
The leaflet explains the work of MKP, highlights achievements of the past year and gives details of future plans.
Ann Limb, Chair of Milton Keynes Partnership Committee, said: Weve produced this leaflet so that people in Milton Keynes will have a better understanding of our role and can be more easily engaged in helping shape the work we do for the new city. We hope that it provides a useful summary of our activities as well as showing how to get more involved with us and to obtain more information about what we do and how we benefit the community.
Copies of the leaflet are available from the offices of MKP and Milton Keynes Council as well as from libraries and the development information sites in the centre:mk, Midsummer Place, Xscape and Milton Keynes Central railway station. Leaflets can also be picked up from the Discover MK shop, the City Discovery Centre, Jurys Inn, the Ramada Encore Hotel and Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce.
An online version of Who we are and what we do can be viewed on the MKP website www.miltonkeynespartnership.info.
